If the Impossible Mission III project for PC had been completed and released, today would be that day! We would have had a total of nine modules making up Elvin's space station, along with a large number of puzzle games and new features. The screenshots below depict two additional settings: the cargo module (with an example of gravity inversion) and Elvin's computer module and robot factory.
In the future, more information about this project may be revealed.
Hello Davide,
RispondiEliminaI'm not a business company by any means, the name EDA is due to my strange art sometimes. I'm a private person with a private list of the best videogames ever. (currently 8 entries)
I'm very impressed what you have done so far with IM3, and especially interested how you manage the sound department within the game.
Is there any chance for a hand-on?

Hi
RispondiEliminaBased on the screenshots and descriptions, this game could be a worthy sequel to the IM series.
I'm sorry that it's not available for download, but I hope that someday someone will convince you that it's not a failure (a 3rd part that can't be distributed for legal reasons, as you wrote on the Lemon Amiga website: https://www.lemonamiga.com/forum/viewtopic.php? t=18689), but rather as an opportunity (the first episode of a new spin-off series). I also think it would be worth renaming it (as someone else suggested) to, for example, Impossible Mission in Space: The den of Elvin Atombender - assuming the Icon64 lawyers have no objections.
By the way, how does this game end? Does Elvin die, or does he somehow escape again? (If he succeeds in cloning his AI-connected brain, he could use robots capable of space travel and self-replication to spread replicas throughout the solar system - which would open up the possibility of making further episodes. For example, there could be Impossible Mission in Space: Lunar Base, Impossible Mission in Space: The Clouds of Venus, Impossible Mission in Space: The Acropolis of Mars, etc.)
Sincerely,
Attila
